Called hotel ahead as I was leading a group. To explain to have the keys ready , particular room assignments, etc. on arrival as we had been traveling all day. Upon arrival nothing of what I translated in my phone call I had made it to the front desk.
My room was fairly small. No coffee machine. And the lighting in the room is all interconnected so to turn the light on over the desk it turns the room lights on at the same time. So if someone else is sleeping. They will be awoken.
Understanding this is what might be a budget hotel with a chic feel. And a somewhat European feel to the rooms. You have to insert your room key into a slot at the door entry, to activate power in the room.
Beds are comfortable.
I just wish when you spend 15 to 20 minutes on the phone explaining your desired requests for arrival. That those requests make it to the check in process.
