I wish I lived a life that didn't involve going to Wal-Mart, but the unfortunate truth is that when you're working on a budget you sometimes have to accept the life of low, low prices.
Compared to many of the chain's locations, this one isn't terrible. The selection is huge, there are plenty of registers, there's underground parking that's nice in poor weather, and the employees seem happier than the average Wal-Mart worker. For the most part the store is kept pretty tidy and well-stocked. The bathrooms leave quite a bit to be desired, and are often downright disgusting, but I guess we can't have it all, can we?
Are there better places to shop? Certainly. Does Wal-Mart meet my basic needs? Yes. If I can keep saving a few bucks at a time to spend locally elsewhere, I'll take the $3 bath towels.
