  • So I gave them two stars because they are always fast and very efficient with my oil changes. For $54, they do a vehicle inspection and rotate your tires as well. However, every single time I've been to this location, one of the customer service representative swears that there is something wrong with my car. He gives me a list of things they always find wrong with the car and then give me a random quote for them to fix it. Every time, they want me to come out of pocket $1,000+. This was my third time visiting this location. The representative got upset and said, "this is the third time I'm telling you about you car! It's not safe! You really need to get things done now! I wouldn't let my kids ride or drive in this car!" Then he tacked on $10 more to my oil change and send me on my way. He seemed frustrated that I didn't want to get my car fixed right away after I told him that I was going to take it somewhere else to have it looked at. Look, I'm not one to say that I know cars, but I know my cars well enough to know that they do not need that much work done them. My family takes care of our cars by keeping up with the preventative maintenance. Anyway, I started to panic. My husband told me to take it to get a second opinion before we spent anymore money at this place. So I went to a non affiliated shop across town and they ran a diagnostic on our vehicle. Before they did anything, they asked, "is your check engine light on." I said no. So after 30 minutes, the mechanic came back to us and said, "there's nothing wrong. I couldn't find anything life threatening or could cause potential harm to you and/or your vehicle." So what did we do? We drove over to the meany heads at Firestone and showed them our diagnostic results. My mom was there and she raised hell! She told him that she trusted them and that she was disappointed in them. She ended her rant by saying, "you just lost a customer!" All I have to say is this....ladies, do not let these greedy ass mechanics take advantage of you. Take a man with you when you go get your car checked out, to get new tires, and to get a simple oil change! When you are alone, They will tell you that you have all these problems with your car and won't fix ANYTHING at all! They are in it for the money. Just be safe out there....and don't go to this place. They suck.
