  • If your idea of a great sandwich is two pieces of rye bread and a pound each of corned beef and pastrami, you'll love Carnegie deli. The meats are lean and tasty. But that's all that I can say that's good about Carnegie. The problems include: sandwich was dry, ambiance and service is "New York casual", which is not meant as a compliment, and it takes a while to get your food. But you get a lot of meat for your money, and no one can say Carnegie Deli pretends to be much more than what it delivers.
