| - I enjoy studying at this library and it reminds me of a smaller version of Windmill library. The library is usually pretty quiet and I love studying by the large windows. There is a mini museum to check out, a small lounge to eat and drink, a small room for presentations, a few study rooms (which need to be reserved in advanced), a computer lab, a quiet study room, and a lot of seating.
I used to be annoyed by one of the security guards that always told me I couldn't bring my hydroflask (with water), but I haven't seen that security guard in a while. It just puzzled me that they have a very eco friendly bathroom, but didn't allow personal water bottles in the library. I used to work at 2 libraries part of LVCCLD, both in a bad part of Vegas, and they never told me or anyone that went there that they couldn't bring in their water bottles.
Overall I like this library. It's a nice quiet area and lots of books to check out. There are plenty of places to study here, but the seats may not be the most comfortable. It's also great for kids too because they have a large YPL and also have story time and activities for the kids. There is also a nice park right behind the library, which I recommend.
