  • I don't really get the complaints about this place.. It's cheaper than newer theaters. Only 6.75 on a weeknight to see a movie. Of COURSE the seats won't be as nice. Of COURSE there won't be as many people there. What do people expect? I don't recommend going Friday/Saturday nights because it's not much cheaper than nicer places then but a matinee or weeknight - it's very affordable and everything is fine. No, it's not amazing. Yeah, there are fewer screens and sometimes you hear the movie in the next threater.. DUH. If you want something fancy, go to Crocker Park and spend more. Easy decision. If you want to see a movie kinda cheap, though, lower your expectations a bit and this movie theater will fit the bill perfectly. I have never had any issues.. Staff is nice, I don't buy food there anyway because it's never worth it at a theater, seats are fine but nothing special so maybe not great if you have back issues.. But seriously, people. This theater is old and you pay less to go there. You get what you pay for and this place is 100% adequate for the price.
