  • Friend recommended Jim .Daugherty. . I had a constantly running toilet. I called made an appt . JIM showed up 15min late in unprofessional attire. I work in the service industry. shorts are never OK. . . I led them to the problem and he looked inside the tank shook his head and stated " "Wow, that is a really old set up - I don't think I can get parts for that, we probably have to replace it" He was speaking of the whole toilet. . REALLY ????? Last I looked I could run to homedepot and pick up innards for $50. But I am not mechanically inclined ,so I need a plumber. Mr Daugherty phoned his supplier and asked about the cost of a toilet. Never trust a plumber who snorts and laughs into a phone. the cost $565. for a standard toilet to 1 thousand for a one piece unit. While he was waiting for the price ,I was on the internet looking up his prices. I found a really nice one piece toilet for $265. 1 thousand - he is out of his mind. Oh, and the cost for the 15 minutes he was here $65. WOW... Run away.
