  • My last update for this place was in 2009?! The place is still here and it's gotten better and better! The food quality and quantity has not diminished one bit. My go-to order consists of the Ross J special and a spicy Korean chicken bowl (meant to be a side but it is truly a meal in itself). Other offerings on their menu specials include Tuna Poke, soups, and eggrolls. The Tuna Poke is something I've only seen more recently and it's quite possibly the best I've tried in this city. It was extremely fresh, marinated in a soy sauce and onion marinade, and the pieces of tuna were cut generously. The price was unbeatable by even the best poke shops in town. So much value and so cheap, you should get this if you see it on the board. The whole menu is cheap. The food is the best. When you order the Ross J special, you'll be wondering how they made their crispy fried chicken so damn good. Their breading is just so ..good. I can't describe it. But no one else in town does it like they do. The people that work here are friendly and serve you with a smile. Since 2009, I've had the chance to try multiple Hawaiian locations for lunch and dinner and Ross J's is simply the best in town. Yelp 100 Challenge 2016 - 6/100
