  • We landed in Phoenix and needed a room to stay for the night. We found this hotel on Expedia.com and decided to give it a go. We called and the lady said she would allow us into our room early. We pulled up and the outside looked nice, the front desk area is nice. You can see what seems to look like a luxurious breakfast area, a huge fireplace, wooden bar and couches next to built in shelves. The front desk took a long time to get us registered. We asked about breakfast and the lady said it is usually $5 per person but she said to just come see her and she will take care of us. That's the last time I was impressed. The halls have holes busted in the walls, the paint is chipping, the ceiling in the elevator was missing in some parts and there was bottles and trash underneath my bed. While we were unpacking, a woman busted in the room and asked us why we haven't left yet. We told her we were allowed to check in early and had just gotten here. She said, "Fine" and shut the door. Shouldn't she have knocked?? The next morning was horrible. We got down to the lobby at 6:50 for breakfast (opens at 7). There was a total of 12 people in line. A group of 3 were having a difficult time checking out. They were wanting to split the prices and the man didn't seem to know how to do that. After 5 minutes, the woman in front of us waiting to buy a breakfast ticket gave up and left. A woman who was very high on something walked around like a zombie asking everyone for a light. We finally got to the front to pay for breakfast (since that lady was not there) and he said they don't take credit card, luckily we had cash. The breakfast lady was taking her time setting out food and didn't open till 7:05. The food was ok, not much for health freaks. It's a shame that this building started as a Comfort Inn with beautiful interior and this place is literally trashing it.
