I spent time here on two occasions while visiting Las Vegas for 6 days. I was traveling with my dog and the strip can get to be a bit much after a few days so we escaped here for some fresh air. I wish we had parks like this in Austin because I would be there daily.
The park is massive and it is well laid out. There are a couple themed kids playground areas, huge sandbox, a bigger kids play area, fenced in dog park with two separate sides, pond where you can feed the ducks, an area that looks like it is set up as an amphitheater for concerts in the grass, a stage with bleachers, clean bathrooms, nice paved path that takes you around the park, maps of the park and huge lawn spaces to picnic on and plenty of parking.
There are great views of the mountains from the park and I really enjoyed just sitting and staring at the snow capped peaks.
