  • The place is extremely over-rated. I have been there multiple times and after this last visit I will never spend my money there again. After being sat we were ignored for a good 10-15 minutes, meanwhile we got water spilled on us and still no service. We then had to get up and ask someone to serve us. Their greens are lacking flavor and are somewhat toothy. Their "famous" shrimp and grits are mediocre at best. The po-boy was a huge piece of bread with literally 5 shrimp on it for almost 12 bucks, and came about 7 minutes after everyone else's food (supposedly they were "adding more shrimp" LMAO!) Their cornbread is legit though, I will give them that. Sadly good cornbread isn't enough to make up for their lack of caring, it shows in their food and service. Guy Fieri's taste buds are seriously off, the bleach is getting to his brain. Adios Merts.
