  • Awhile ago I wanted to try bubble tea for the first time. After reading around Yelp I found that people generally think Jade Mountain Coffee & Tea Company is the best place to go to. I tried the bubble tea and just thought it wasn't for me. I recently decided I wanted to try it again. Steepery is close to my apartment and was the runner up from my original searching so I decided to give it a shot. I definitely think Steepery is better than Jade Mountain! The staff is friendlier and the bubble tea is tastier. Like other reviews say, the bubbles can be a bit under cooked, but I've only had it happen once. The flavored tea far makes up for it though. It's just so delicious! This is the first time in my life I've craved tea! Only four stars because the staff doesn't really get complicated orders during busy hours. Like I said, I really love the tea. The bubbles are just a nice bonus. I'd rather have more tea than bubbles. My boyfriend is the exact opposite. So we both got bubble tea and we asked for half of my bubbles to be put in his drink. When we got back to the car and popped open our drinks we noticed we both had only a half scoop of bubbles. So I suggest double checking your drink before you leave!
