The gardens are very cool and you can really learn a lot by taking a guided tour. They are well-maintained and there are tons of things (plants, animals, birds) to see, but I just don't think it's worth $18 to see, plus $3.50 more to see their butterfly garden. Maybe I'm just a tightwad, but paying almost $50 for two of us to walk around the gardens seemed steep. If I lived very close by I would definitely pay $65 for a membership and visit often because they have lots of shady areas to relax and read or have a picnic, but I don't so I probably won't be back.
