We saw coming soon signs for this place for about a year, but we finally realized it was open via an ad on LKNfun.com today. This is a great addition to the Lake Norman area because previously the closest putt putt was all the way in Mooresville. The entrance is almost hidden; it is on 21 between exits 25 and 28 right after or before the Nissan dealership depending on your direction.
The greens have a fun wilderness theme with several cool obstacles for your ball to travel through and wildlife animal statues hidden all around you. If you suck at minigolf as much as my wife and I do then you won't come close to a par on any of these courses, 13 of the 18 holes are par2s. It is still a great time though and they have a lot of nice waterfalls and scenery including a train that runs through the area. Also this is the first putt putt place I have ever played on that has fake rough and sand traps on the greens, that was a cool twist.
It was 8 dollars per adult for us to play, and if you like them on facebook you can keep track of their hours of operation when there is a chance of rain like there was today. The owner said they opened officially in March of this year, and we got there shortly after noon and there was already a nice crowd.
Bring the kids hungry if you want they have a small outside seating area, and a nice menu at their snack bar including ice cream.
