  • Classic Tin Robots, Super Mario Flying Bullets, and X-Ray Specks. Holy amazing trinket time! To the Bat-Mobile!... "cool kids", you have been warned. Yes, I'm an adult in the legal sense of the word... I can buy booze, drive a car, and can get incarnated if I choose to mix those two together. Just for the record, I haven't and won't. But when it comes to unique toy shops, comic booky items, or weird stuff from a foreign land, I'm all over it. Kappa Toys has all of the above and it fuels the culture vulture inside me. I came here to kill some time before a meeting and slowly fell in "like" with the place. Catching my eye in the window was a Robbie the Robot type item and found out this place carries all sort of goodies. Classic Batman TV show figurines, Japanese monsters, Simpsons goodies, Unicorn masks, and a statue of a little boy who pees on you. Yes, you read hat right. I was peed on by a little boy figurine. **Insert crude joke here** As I walked through the store and took a mental inventory of everything I wanted to buy, I was approached by a very sweet and helpful person who I later found out was the owner. Lizzie, informed me that they would be carrying, more Doctor Who stuff in the future and I got giddy with delight! The Doctor Who stuff they have now is minimal, but there's enough stuff in here to distract your Whovian love. I highly recommend checking this place out next time you're at Container Park. Go in, get a Godzilla truck, and high five your friend, because now you're the coolest MFer in town!
