| - My wife and I just stayed here for two nights over Mother's Day weekend. I saw the Yelp reviews were very poor, but the price was good so I decided to risk it. We found it to be just fine. Sure, it's not a luxury casino on the strip, but it is also not $200 per night on the weekend. We had a poor view room for $99/night on Friday and Saturday. Not even the Motel 6 with its poor WiFi is available for that price. And maybe the neighborhood is different than on the strip, but I stayed at the Embassy Suite just two doors down before and I didn't have any problems. Of course I am also not out at night walking the streets.
The casino is very small and has an attached restaurant. We did not use either, but it wasn't too busy. When we entered our room I was surprised at the space. The room had two beds, each in a separate room separated by a partial wall. There was a kitchen-like area (well a counter area and a mini-fridge), the bathroom sink was on the outside so my wife could do her hair while I was showering. The bathroom was a little small, but the shower was good. The beds were very comfortable and we both slept great each night. The Wifi worked well and the rooms were clean.
Saturday morning people were sitting around the pool, but it was surprisingly a little chilly too get in. The hotel played music mostly from the 50's-60's, and while I could hear it in my room it wasn't too loud. Despite all of the negative reviews, the room was just fine to me and I would definitely go back.
