What a cool place and a cool concept! These bowls of rolled ice cream are like consuming little pieces of delicious art!
Variety. There are countless variations of what you can get at Naturoll! This is a good thing but can also be a bad thing if you are indecisive in a fast moving environment. So...you may want to check out the website beforehand to have a game plan instead of folding under the pressure. But honestly, you'll have a delicious experience even if you shoot off the hip!
The inside of this creamery is nice but small. If there is a line (there usually is), you may be waiting outside! Minimal indoor seating is available. There is one semi-awkward long thin table you can sit at, but it's probably best to take your rolls to go.
Employees were very nice! And they are fun to watch when making the ice cream. It's kind of a personal experience when you go because they call you over by name to ask what you want mixed in to your ice cream. That's a nice touch! It's a fun process to watch.
Expensive. This place is expensive. But you're receiving a quality product which also requires the forearm strength of a Medieval stone mason to make. I'm not saying the price isn't worth it, but I am saying I won't go here every week because of their price point. I'll make it a special occasion or a stop when friends are in town...and it will be THAT ice cream place.
Portion sizes are great! I have the appetite of 3 grown men and a 12 year old. I was full after eating this. That says something. So...to make the price more palpable (literally) sharing could be your option? I think so.
Go to Naturoll. I like it.
