  • Ongoing renovation is not mentioned anywhere in their online listings. Lobby being torn apart, rooms not as clean as they should be. But this does not excuse the shoddy behavior of the staff. They closed off the section leading from the elevator lobby to the main lobby, with no info on how to, you know, get out of the hotel. The pool, well the pool is akin to a cesspool. Crap everywhere and some seriously distributing scum on top of the water, in the corners. This is not the kind of thing that accumulates in a few hours, it indicates serious neglect. Last the A/C has two settings. Off and meat locker. I don't expect a 5 star experience from Courtyard by Marriott, but this is really quite bad.
