  • I have been going to Sweet Melissa in Rocky River for probably about the past six years and I am finally getting around to do it justice with a solid review. Sweet Melissa is always enjoyable. The food is fresh. The atmosphere is comfortable and the menu is occassionally rotated. Brunch on Sunday's is also fantastic. There is also a dessert counter with cheesecake, tarts, torts, cupcakes, chocolates, etc. which is very cute. Although the last time my wife and I ordered the cheesecake it tasted kind of "old and funky" - it was the Oreo cheesecake and it was more than slightly disappointing, so we didn't eat even half of it. I would love to see some more custom cocktails on the menu promoted or some more specials. That's really what is missing. No really Happy Hour or drink specials from what I see 90% of the time. If there are, I'm not aware of it. Everything on the menu is honestly great. Try it.
