Now you may be wondering why as a member of the female persuasion, I was at a Barbershop? So basically I was doing a foodie tour of the area and out tour guide took us here as it's a bit of Local flavor. This shop has been in business since the 1920s and the current owner is the 3rd generation of his family to own it.
This shop is a wee bit like stepping back in time. There's a lovely collection of coloured glass bottles as well as a rotary phone (the owner told us that when he gets young kids in, they don't believe him when he tells them that it's a phone) and another collection of shaving mugs.
Lots of memorabilia on the wall and the most gorgeous original tin roof - if this store was in New York, I could easily envisage it becoming this cool hip underground Speakeasy at night!
So that's it - you'll have to read the other reviews for how good the services provided actually are!
