I've been pretty excited to see an authentic Italian shop open down the street from me. Sometimes I cringe when I see the prices but it really comes down to the flavor. I've had the pleasure of trying their Alfredo pasta during my first visit. You can absolutely taste the texture difference of the pasta of how it is homemade versus store bought. It was soft, maybe too soft for some people's liking, flavorful and just delicious. They packed in garlic in the sauce and it's exactly the way I would've wanted it. I tried the Roast Pork Italian hot sandwich. I did wish to have a small cup for a little more au ju to dip my sandwich in, but it surprisingly remained slightly moist the whole time. I'm not usually a big fan of broccoli rabe with the bitterness but it perfectly countered the pork, juice and the bread. This sandwich surprised the hell out of me. I do feel like you get the most bang for your buck with their Philly Cheesesteak. This sandwich was just plain greasy and so damn delicious. I wish I asked for extra provolone cheese because I could not get enough of it. I also had them add all the peppers, onions and mushrooms and they were sautéed perfectly. I did try their white Bianca pizza and added some basil pesto to it and this was also awesome. I plan to try all their pizzas at some point. They offer a buy one, get one Happy Hour special between 4pm-7pm for any of their 10" pizzas. Also at first I was a bit upset that the two cannoli's were $5.50, but they are seriously the best cannoli's I've ever had. I wish they were a little cheaper but it was definitely worth it.
