  • I am kind of in love with Amelie's. I came in for a coffee and left with a variety of French macarons- not only was the staff super friendly (I've been repeatedly encountering this while in Charlotte), but the ambiance is so homey and sweet. I was offered two types of self-serve coffee once I ordered and paid, both a mild and darker blend. I mixed the two which is pretty standard for me. The macarons were just as delicious as the ones my mother brought me home from her recent Paris trip. Maybe better. I love this little spot- I have been back since my initial trip and the staff, again, was delightful.
