I have found Dr. Khoury to be extremely competent AS A SURGEON. I've seen enough x-rays over the years to have a good idea what's what, and concur with two other ortho's that the new joint is mechanically "perfect." On the other hand, I developed neuropathy after my knee replacement, and she completely denied the pain. Unfortunately, by the time I figured it out, it was probably permanent! I've now had it for over 2 years post-replacement. The last ortho I spoke with recommends 1000 mg Vitamin C to his patients who get neuropathy... why it happens is unknown.
So if you have postoperative pain that's severe for over a week or two, get suspicious! Check it out!
