  • If high quality goods and infectious smiles is your bliss, this place is heaven. What I love most about Penzeys on W25th is the people who work there. Regardless of what you are looking for they have a suggestion for you, especially if you are overwhelmed by the fact there are so many different types of cinnamon to choose from... they will take the time to describe everything to you in an understandable way. Beyond the amazing people, the spices are amazing. Everything I have tried has been the best spice I've ever had. The all elevate dishes in a way your stereotypical grocery brand fails to with ever dash. Yes, they tend to be more pricey than your generic brand, but with their coupons and deals there is no reason to not give them a try. My last visit I got $25 worth of spices for $7 dollars. That's chili powder, garlic pieces, pepper, salad dressing mix and a speciality fish/veggie spice AND a really cute pin. I highly recommend signing up for their email list because that's how they advertise their deals... they sometimes even give spices away... no purchase necessary. What truly makes Penzeys a must go is their generosity. They work towards a happier tomorrow by partnering with amazing organizations and really promoting a sense of community.
