Sinatra has been on my radar for quite a while and it definately did not dissappoint. We arrived at 6:00 pm and were seated quickly. The restaurant is large but intimate and very classy. With the large picture of Frank and his music playing softly in the backround you know your in his restaurant.
After being seated it did take quite a while for anyone to acknowledge us. No menus, no drink orders and no water service. Eventually someone in a suit (Sommellier?) came by to take our drink and wine orders. The menus and water service followed shortly after. The menu is classic italian; Antipasto, caprese, pastas, osso bucco, veal parm, etc. Our waiter was pretty quiet. The service was fine but nothing extraordinary or over the top which I would expect here.
The veal parm came highly recommended so I went with that. We also ordered a antipasto for the table and the panzanella con Granchio (lump blue crab, tomato and cucumber). Both appetizers were very good. The prosciutto and fresh buffalo mozzarella in the antipasto were excellent. The entrees arrived and the veal parm took up the entire plate, it was huge. It was covered in cheese and had the perfect amount of sauce. They also leave it on the bone which is a nice presentation. The veal was so tender and just melted in your mouth.
For dessert we had the gelato and the tiramisu. If you order gelato you get to choose 3 different flavors. We had Coconut, Hazelnut and Chocolate. The tiramisu was definately a better choice. The gelato was ok but served almost melted.
Overall an excellent dinner and dining experience.
