| - Best BBQ in town! Located under a freeway overpass, it doesn't get more hole-in-the-wall than this. While Rollin Smoke's location may be subtle and discrete, its food is definitely not. All their smoked meats and sauces are gluten-free. The meat here is simply phenomenal. If you you're a big boy or girl that can eat, go for the AYCE for $35 - anything on the menu is fair game.
The times I've been here, I've stuck to the combos. The pit special is more than enough for two people if you like variety. I love the brisket, pulled pork, and spare ribs, but less of a fan of the chicken and hot links. Today's visit, my friend and I shared the rib platter special and were not disappointed. The baby back ribs and St. Louis spare ribs were some of the best I've had. One beef rib would've been enough to share, but we added on an extra for $6. To top it off, we added a 1/2 pound of burnt ends with a side of waffle fries and corn nuggets. I've had burnt ends before, but they were nothing like these. These burnt ends were juicy, tender, and so flavorful that they required no sauce. The corn nuggets are now my favorite side! I've also liked the mac & cheese and cornbread in the past.
Despite having over a thousand rave reviews, I like to think that this joint is still one of Vegas' best kept secrets. It reminds me of Freddy's BBQ from House of Cards - amazing ribs and food, but only if you're in the know. I still have yet to try the infamous outlaw burger, but I saw it pass by today and it had me mesmerized. Until next time my hungry friends.
