It was my first time here tonight and it was packed on a Wednesday so it obviously isn't too bad. If you ask me, it was the food that brought people back-- not the service.
We got there about 25 minutes until 7. Happy hour ends at 7. We had reservations so we were seated as soon as we got here. Our waitress took her little time coming to take our orders. We wanted to get at least one round of drinks and appetizers at happy hour prices because the deals are great! She came to take our order 25 minutes later... Right when happy hour ended.
Drinks took about ten minutes but they were great. I'm a fan of Moscow mules and it was one of the best I've had. My dad and his girlfriend got mixed drinks and loved them too. My boyfriend got an IPA because he's picky about his old fashioneds.
The crab dip tasted like tuna to me. Not a big fan at all. I ordered the salmon, creamy polenta, and green beans. I actually really dislike any fish that isn't shellfish but the salmon only had a tiny hint of fishiness. You also got a dipping sauce for your fish. I got the chimichurri. My boyfriend had the tiger fish, polenta and asparagus with ponzu sauce. He loved his meal but we ended up switching sauces. All in all, the food was good- lacking in some areas but THE SERVICE IS ABSOLUTELY ABSOLUTELY 110% AWFUL.
Our waitress passed by us so many times when we needed more water, more drinks, or wanted to put in another appetizer order. I work in the service industry and I felt embarrassed for the management staff by how awful our waitress was to is and surrounding tables. They should consider taking on some more staff or teach their new staff how to cover all your tables in an efficient manner. All the tables around us had complaints about the service from what we could over hear.
