| - Under the radar, compared to all the other eateries in the Aria restaurant collection.
Solid restaurant with great front of the house and in house staff. Love the exposed salad and appetizer area, maybe a little cheesy with the massive displays of retail items.
Good:
-Charred Octopus, perfectly meaty, mint was a nice touch
-Beef Carpaccio, loads of parm and baby arugula
-Market Greens, fresh greens and great white balsamic dressing
-Pappardelle, foraged mushrooms, earthy, rich, beautiful
-Med Sea Bass, huge portion, crispy skin, well seasoned, nice fennel agrodolce
-Filet, solid, temperature the way I like it, rare
Okay:
-Caesar, good croutons needed more egg and anchovy, just more pow, please
-Penne, veal ragu, a touch too much sweet from the sun dried tomato
-Bombolini, too dense for me, nice variety of sauces
-Veal Ricotta Meatballs, good flavor, too dry, more fat needed
Bad:
-complimentary bread, chewy, crust had no crunch
Nice energy and lighting in the dining room. Not the best or most exciting Italian menu, but really good food.
