I recently had the opportunity to grab a snack and drink at The Mission in old town Scottsdale. Nice place - good food, inviting décor, friendly patrons and great wait staff.
We started with a margarita which seemed fitting regardless of the fact that I am not generally a tequila fan. It was well presented, not too salty and really pretty good.
Next we each ordered Grilled Street Corn and Crispy Pork & Cola Lime Glaze. The Street Corn, I am told consisted of such things as skewered corn, butter, chile paprika and cilantro. Really delicious - you could make a meal of it. The pork belly was even better. Red onion, lettuce, peanut, cola with a hint of lime. I would love to figure out how to prepare this at home and have it taste the same.
Give this restaurant a try. Good value for your money and a treat for your taste buds.
