| - Incompetent service and beautiful venue, this place looks great from the colorful boba straw sculpture out front to the Art Deco Shining movie interior. I expected Jack Torrence to ask Loyd for a drink. But oh wait, I ordered a drink and they only took cash. The other register had no money and management was in disarray. Come on, have a drawer ready for drink at a world class event. This was a severe disappointment. Ok, even if you are not a lush, the food fare was inadequate, cold veggie trays, cold cheese trays, and cold sandwiches in plastic. By the way, theater cups are $3 extra and are from last season, "2013-2014 Season" labeled uninsulated plastic covered 12oz junk. Fortunately, they can book great entertainment but who knows for how long since they will be losing half the beverage revenue on poor management. The parking staff and security are more helpful than the young ladies with attitude in the box office. The office itself is too tiny and the staff makes you feel like you are asking for slippers in a detention center. Good luck. Tip: have your mom or wife bring a big purse full of libations and snacks because who knows how long it will be before anyone figures out how to properly stock the beautiful venue such as Reynolds Hall at Smith Center.
