Family stayed on comps for two days before driving back to SD last week. My first time in the actual hotel rooms, as I had sampled the casino area before. Atypical Vegas facade hiding the rancid vanilla interior. Clientele on both nights were mostly aging boomers. Crossed my tolerance threshold for loud Hawaiian shirts and fanny packs way too early in the evening. And this was on a Wednesday.
Room rate was decent, comparable to what you'd pay for an off-strip hotel on a weekend, I suppose. I sat and drank at one of the lounges on the floor and shat the ish with my constantly traveling cuz for a couple hours while trying to get a feel for the place. Bartender gave me a Crown Royal bag and a glass, I guess they had some promo or whatever and they had extras...so one up for that.
Like Cindy Crawford's mole, this one's all about location. As always, Everyday Bonus Points for spotting the prostitutes.
