| - I will no longer be buying fish here.
Bored with the lack of selection for Orandas, at other stores, I stumbled upon trop aquarium and was excited to see that they had more than just orange as a color selection.
However, after several fish, and several hundred dollars later, ALL of the fish that I have ever bought from Trop aquarium have died, and made my other fish ill. ****This is after I follow their instructions on adding fish, and buy the preventive medication that they recommend.
This has happened three times, and it all usually happens on the 8th or 9th day. Finally fed up and heartbroken, I called to see if they had any kind of warranty on their fish.
The warranty is 7 days, the dead fish has to be frozen, and you have to bring in a separate water sample, they will test the water sample, and all of your levels have to be at ZERO for them to even accept the fish. Even if you do water changes every day, which obviously isn't recommended- there would be trace amounts of ammonia!
- I mean, even PetSmart has a 14 day return policy and all you have to do is bring in the fish !!!!!
Now all I can do is sit back and watch my fish suffer.
My family and I Are once again devastated, and I will NEVER come back to trop aquarium.
