This place isn't the worst, but it certainly is not the best.
Fuel and Fuddle definitely caters to the college crowd with their low key vibes, dim lighting, and loud music. The atmosphere was pretty relaxed but you could tell you were in a college town bar/restaurant.
The beer selection is stellar with a wide variety of craft beers on tap. The food is average bar food - nothing remarkable to report. A friend and I came in on a Thursday night before heading to a Pitt game and were seated immediately. We shared the nachos with pulled pork and while we finished the plate, they weren't our favorites nachos we've ever ate. F&F does not do nacho cheese so it was just shredded cheese melted over a plate of nachos with cold toppings thrown on at the end. The pulled pork was the best thing on the plate, so I'd recommend just getting their pulled pork sandwich.
Would I come back to Fuel and Fuddle? Sure, if I was grabbing a beer before a game. But I have no intention to add it to my rotation of bar/restaurants.
