  • This store offers a few horse products not available at our corner Ace Hardware in Cave Creek. For that variety, I added a star. However... If you decide to order hay, you need to be prepared to devote some extra time and effort as the service side can be abysmal. Our hay broker retired so we ordered from this store for the first time about three months ago. The hay was wet and some of it molded. They promised to take care of it at time of next order. Ok, fine. That second order just happened. They missed their appointment and came hours later even though that was not agreed. When I came home, the two kinds of hay were mixed together, some of it stacked outside, new hay stacked on old open bales, and the moldy hay they asked us to save was not picked up. I would have tossed the moldy hay but was instructed to save it. As far as the rest of the delivery, very disappointing...which is why we made the appointment to be present. Well after much reassurance on the phone, the guys who were supposed to come today to make it right no showed. I'll take my three thousand a year in hay business to someone who can keep an appointment and has some common sense on how to stack it.
