  • For as much as this restaurant was hyped, and for as much thought as was put into the aesthetics, I expected much better food. We visited CD on a Friday around noon, when I thought the place would be full. Instead, we found it virtually empty, which is not usually a good sign, especially for a place so centrally located in Old Town Scottsdale. I tried the cheeseburger, which the waiter described to me as the best burger he had ever had, hands down. While there was nothing wrong with the burger, I would probably not order it again. Sure, it's a cool looking place, and I'd go again if it were just for drinks, but I wouldn't recommend it as a restaurant...not when there are so many better restaurants so close by.
