| - I play golf every weekend in LV. I've been to almost every golf course in LV and I can honeslty say Rhodes Ranch has the wrost club house in LV. I feel this way cause of just one person in the golf club and I think his name was Robert! I'm big on common courtesy and Robert has none what so ever, which is kinda sad cause he represents the course. The guy seemed like he was new which I didn't mind, but if you mess up and you know you messed up don't get all rude cause you're under pressure and you know you messed up. Calm down and fix the issue correctly and calmly.
I had a tee time at 8:12am and I came into the shop at 7:30am. First Robert tried to charge me $55 but I told him it was cheaper online and that's where I reserved my tee time. Then he tried to charge me $50. I can tell by then he didn't know what he was doing cause he continued to ask the other guy in the club which special should I get. I told them both, there isn't a special, $45 is what I reserved for on the Rhodes Ranch website for locals and I should only be charge $45. Robert then charges me $50 and tells me I need to show him the email confirmation indicating it was only $45 but on the email confirmation it doesn't say how much I should get charge, it just tells the time, date and how many players. Robert then tells me I am getting charged for the early fee, the fee before 8am! I told yes, correct but my tee time is at 8:12am, isn't that after 8am! Just because I check in before 8am I should not be charged for the early tee time fee. Robert then realized he messed up and the other guy check the Rhodes Ranch website and finally confirmed it should have been $45. Robert voides my $50 fee (which I'm not even sure I will get back cause Robert was so scared at the point I'm not sure if he voided it correctly) then charges me $45. The whole time Robert was rude and I can tell he was confused and scared cause he knew he messed up. I don't mind if a person messes up cause we all do that in life, but please don't get rude to the customers when you messed up and it's yourr fault! Robert seemed like he was in his 50's and if he still acts like that now, then he will never change! That's why I wouldn't recommend going to RR cause if you have a bad experience before you even start your round, then that messes up your whole experience. At least in the front 9.
As for the course overall, it was in good condition. The greens were a little firm and slow but over all the course was good! They don't have any water out there so if you plan on playing in the summer, make sure to bring extra extra water!
