  • We stayed here for three nights while visiting Calgary and Banff, and it was pretty good. The hotel itself is well located - not so close to town, but right off the highway and next to the airport if you have an early flight. The facilities were updated and clean and the staff was welcoming and helpful. Great parking situation too - we found a spot directly in front of the hotel every day. When we returned the rental car the evening before leaving, we were able to take their shuttle back quickly and easily. Two qualms: pillows were awful, and reading the other reviews, I'm not the only one who felt that way. They were lumpy, hard, and too big to sleep comfortably on. Secondly, the breakfast: no protein, just starches and yogurt. Plus we got there early and yet they never restocked anything. Usually breakfast is a plus for a hotel, but this one ain't great. I did like the little lounge and restaurant. I'd still return here and recommend to others, as we got a decent deal and they do what they can to make life easier for guests.
