  • Came here a few years ago with a referral from my family doctor. Pros: Beautiful offices Cons: Literally everything else. 1) I opted for a walk-in visit as the wait for an appointment was very long. I was told the wait was typically around 45 minutes-1hr. We came early and still had to wait THREE HOURS. They were calling new people very slowly; there weren't very many people ahead of us. 2) Once I finally got called into the room I had to wait an additional 45 minutes while Dr. Singh took a phone call right outside my door. I understand things happen, but they should really give the patient some explanation or at least an apology. And with offices that fancy, the doctor should have a private office to make calls, not right outside the exam room door. 3) At the time I was dealing with an acne flare-up that only seemed to flare up when I was in Toronto. I travel frequently and my skin would clear up in a day or two when I left Toronto but come raging back within a day of returning. I expressed a reasonable concern that my acne was being triggered by an environmental factor, but Dr. Singh dismissively claimed that in all his experience and all the studies he's read he's never heard of environment causing acne (I call BS). He insisted it's some internal cause...but then we never talked about what that could be. He never even asked about other possible factors: diet, exercise, stress, what products do I use, how do I treat flare-ups, etc. There is a reason doctors take patient history--the doctor may know medicine but a patient understand his or her body best. As a lawyer, I had many clients come in the door with their own internet-derived legal theories. They weren't often right, but there was always something worthwhile in listening to their concerns and ideas. 4) After 4 hours of waiting he spent around 5-7 minutes with me. He prescribed a multi-month strong antibiotic course. I took it EXACTLY as prescribed and after months and months there was no change. 5) The doctor said that if the antibiotics don't work he'd prescribe Accutane. Accutane is a serious treatment and many dermatologists recommend exhausting the alternatives first. Overall my impressions are that the office is run in a sloppy, lazy way by an ineffective doctor. My flare-ups have since been treated by better people than Dr. Singh.
