  • Smith's supermarkets are probably the best priced non-Ethnic markets in the Valley. Make sure you download their Smith's app, and each Friday you get a "Friday Download" coupon for a free item. You have to get the coupon on Friday, and Friday only, but you can redeem the free item for about a week after. Usually they have chocolate bars, juice or energy drinks, stuff that's usually around $1-2 dollars. Also if you stack your Smith's savings and coupons with apps like Ibotta, you can get really great deals! This particular Smith's has the best sushi. Their sushi is run by a different company AFC, instead of Skyfox(?) all the others have. The prices are a bit better and they are a little more generous with the fish. The guys that run the sushi counter are really friendly too and will make you a fresh roll or a special order for you if you want. The cheese counter is new with lots of higher end offerings, pates, antipastos, specialty cheeses and of course the guys at there are really helpful and always have samples out too. Talk to them, they are friendly! Most days they even have wine and cheese pairing samples with the main cheese counter guy and the wine guy. On the back side of that is a new olive bar that puts the Whole Foods olive bar to shame! And a bit cheaper too! Lastly, don't forget about your gas points. Usually in the summer they do double points on the weekends, but Costco is still cheaper!
