  • I had a staycation here a while back, kept telling myself I'm going to review & then kept forgetting about it but here we go. Stayed at a lot of hotels on the Strip this is definitely one of my 5 favorites so far. I valeted upon arrival, checked in with a really nice guy who had personality & was not stuffy at all, & found my hotel room with ease as it was an easy walk away from check in. I like that they have someone checking the hotel keys so only guests can enter the hotel buildings. Walking through the hallways is nothing special but once you open the door to your room the vibe changes. Arriving to darkness I pressed one of the high tech light switches & the curtains slid open & the lights popped on with style. The decor was not bombarding which I liked, very neutral & elegant with a mix cream & black hues. My resort room had a spacious king sized bed with living room & television that you can turn around to face the bed or the living room. The bathroom was very spacious with a huge bath tub & shower. Bath tub size is important to me when traveling... I like to soak & unwind. I like that the toilet is on the other side, away from the tub. They also have wonderful vegan, cruelty free body products instead of the cheap stuff so you won't be harming your body when you wash up which is often a concern for me as a person with sensitive skin who often has to carry my own beauty products with vacationing. We got the mountain view although we had the option of strip view. We chose this option because we were told that the strip side can get loud at night because of Surrender nightclub also at the hotel. It was still beautiful to wake up too. I loved how Encore/Wynn had everything you need there so if you're not looking to wander all over the Strip & just want to relax you really have it all. There are beach clubs, night clubs, amazing restaurants (I ate at Jardin during my stay which was excellent), casino if you're into that, world class shows (saw Le Reve during my stay which was amazing & Showstoppers which I saw at another time... one of the best shows I have ever seen on the Strip period although sadly discontinued!), luxury shopping, & beautiful pools which unfortunately during my stay I didn't have the chance to check out. They even have a smaller version of the Bellagio fountains outside which I like better because they play fun classics like Frank Sinatra. You can also walk to the Palazzo easily as they have an escalator connecting to the hotel. My only complaint really was that the valet sucked. When we were leaving we had to walk outside, take an escalator down to the valet pick up, then wait underground for valet. Highly inconvenient when you're pulling luggage, not luxurious at all, & totally takes away from the point of valet which is that you're paying for the convenience of not having to do all of that. Other then that I really enjoyed my stay but would recommend self parking if you're going to have to go through all of that anyway. It's a beautiful hotel with better service then most places on the Strip & perfect for those who just want to stay in one area rather then galavanting all over town.
