| - Woo hoo, how exciting was Luke Air days 2018 this past weekend!! I really enjoyed the six hours of arial displays from World War II aircraft through the latest F35 fighter Jets. It's not every day Luke is open to the public, but hey did such a great job coordinating parking, buses from the remote parking lots and vendors on site for the estimated 200,000+ people each day. I feel like there was a mile of vendors serving shaved ice's, lemonade, burgers, salads, Mediterranean, pizza, steaks, barbecue and more.
There were three or four different planes to tour, in not much of an enthusiast and didn't pay much attention to the particular aircraft, but walking through the cargo plane, and mid air refueling craft was pretty cool.
If you get the chance to come out next year or a year there after, get there early, 9 or 10 am, bring some portable camping type chairs along, plenty of water and lots of sun screen, plan to spend the day taking in the excitement of all the different air crafts!
