  • We started on the square at the Old Fashioned. There was an hour wait there for 5 people. We were hungry and it was hot out, so we ventured over to Brocach to see if there was a wait for a table. No wait and they had AC- so that was a bonus for us! They get 2 stars for the AC. The food took forever and it wasn't very good. The fish fry was disgusting. the batter on the fish was soggy and FULL of oil. YUCK! My fries were so charred that they almost disintegrated as I chewed them. I had the worst stomach ache (almost instantly) from the food. I had to put my best face on since we were hosting a guest to dinner. We had ordered cheese curds for a starter and no one wanted to eat more than one. Cheese curds people! You HAVE to get these right in Wisconsin! If there are any left on the plate, this is a very bad sign. I don't think I have ever heard of that happening. .
