  • This will be a mixed review for the Ashely's in Ahwatukee. During the buying process we enjoyed our salesman. He was a cool guy. We were actually looking forward to writing a positive review. So here are the pros. Delivery was prompt and hassle free. Their selection was decent. They didn't have everything we needed but a few pieces were great and fit our style. They were also in the middle of transferring to a different location so the store wasn't in the best shape. Which is to be expected during a move. The cons.... Their prices are high and no refunds or even exchanges of any kind are allowed. Once we found the couch that we wanted we went over EVERYTHING with our salesman. He instructed us to inspect the piece when it was delivered and sign off on it that it was in good condition. He also stated once we signed off that it was in good condition we couldn't call a week later stating there was a rip or malfunction. My husband informed him that we were getting new floors and were worried about the color of the couch. That is when our salesman stated if we got it home and found it to be unsatisfactory to call him and he would work with us. We have had the piece home for 3 days and have found it to be quite itchy. Nothing malfunctioned it's just uncomfortable. We are not happy with the fabric. We were looking forward to working with our salesman again and exchanging it for a different piece. When we called Ashley's to speak to our salesman we were on hold for quite a while. When someone came back online I asked them their exchange policy again and told her we wished to work with our salesman to find something different. She put me on hold again to speak with her manager. Still not getting our salesman. When she came back on the phone she informed us that her manager stated their hands were tied and that there was no returns or exchanges! The manager himself couldn't even be bothered to take my call. If your couch ends up being extremely itchy you should be able to switch it for a comparable piece. Buyer beware!! Horrible customer service after the purchase is made and they completely misrepresented their policies during the buying process. They will tell you what you want to hear to get u out the door with the piece. Then their hands will be tied if you require additional help. This is extremely disappointing. Especially for the price we paid. We will never shop here again and with so many furniture choices in and around this area we will send our friends and family elsewhere.
