  • This is now my favourite place in the city for croissant by far! I am NOT an early bird, I like sleeping in embarrassingly late past noon on the weekends. But Tasso is only open 8am-11am (and often sell out before 11)... and so I drag myself out of bed early as hell so I can make it in time to get a big bag of delicious pastry! The croissant is just perfect...crunchy outer layers, super buttery and soft inside. So damn good. They have great lattes as well, I prefer them over Jet Fuel BY FAR. The owners are an amazing husband and wife who start baking at absurd hours and make everything themselves. So glad I discovered Tasso!
