We headed here for brunch on New Years. The location is amazing in Paradise Valley and tucked away. Valet was very friendly and welcoming.
Atmosphere - If you haven't been to Sanctuary the style is somewhat modern with a zen feeling to it with some amazing outdoor views. We sat inside facing the mountains. Booths are set up to be very private though next to each other (the seats act as dividing walls as well, though it is not sound proof. The view is beautiful and the setting of the table is such that you can sit right next to each other if you prefer.
Food - I ordered the egg white frittata and the toasted coconut waffle out of indecision. As well as green tea and orange juice to drink.
The toasted coconut waffle was delicious. I highly recommend. It was sweet, but not too sweet. The whip cream was unique and light. I loved the shreds of coconut and strawberries. It had a fresh tart taste mixed with the creamy whip cream and I believe honey even. The waffles themselves tasted great as well. Crisp and fresh.
The egg white frittata was very healthy. I am a fan of goat cheese and purple potatoes which were part of this entree. It was definitely a much healthier option. It was a bit dry yet full flavored with what I believe were onions and broccoli.
Service - our waitress Ingrid was very pleasant and offered us a cinnamon bun pastry. They were delicious. It was a fantastic surprise edition to our meal. She came by often to check in on us, but not too much, and brought our bill promptly.
Definitely a place to be for more of a resort feel or special occasion. Pricing is in line with the experience. I recommend.
