  • Alo alo, top o dah mor-nin to yew! Does that translate into a somewhat British accent? Because after visiting Good Taste of Britain my mind went into British accent autopilot. This is a fanciful store celebrating the patriotism of Britain. Chock full of British goodies and treats, import candy and chocolate, beverages and teas. Tons of memorabilia cover the walls from Beatlemania to license plates and football scarves. The store at Eau Claire is large and unlike the other cultural stores at the market, its decor is tastefully done. Of course a store celebrating Britain shouldn't be without a great selection of music or films. Let me digress here and say that one of my favourite film stylings is British comedy. I have been known to laugh for hours and occasionally snort and wet myself. GTOB succeeds in snogging itself so have a spot of tea with them mates!
