  • I'm almost never downtown during the day, so I'm missing out on the nation's most underrated coffee scene. Cartel is one more shining example of Phoenix baristas doing things RIGHT. I had a cold brew to-go from their walk-up window. It was fruity and aromatic, not all bitter and burnt like certain *other* walk up coffee shops. Prices here are reasonable and they're pretty quick. I'd recommend it in a heartbeat.
