I expected a little more from this place considering, unlike some of these other French places in town, the owner actually is from France. I really liked the macarons though, which is the main highlight of the Nadege show--we bought a dozen of those and a couple of sandwiches and bottled sodas and spent a good chunk of the afternoon sitting on their patio, which is a great way to wile away the time. The interior is also comfortable but it was such a nice day so sitting outside made so much more sense.
The service was great, but the sandwiches do not warrant all the fuss. The bread was way too loud and crumbly, and lacked the flavour one finds in the breads used in the sandwiches found in France. I don't mean to sound like a snob here, but I kind of expected somehing of the same given the owner is French but I guess it can't be 100% the same since ingredients are probably sourced from here and not Europe or wherever...
