Have been here twice, both times wonderful. Sat on the back patio the first time and inside the second. We were seated at a spot in the back near the vines which was awkward. One of our party of four repeatedly got her hair stuck in said vines and another person (with a small build) had to ask another table if she could pull out her chair because it was so close to ours. It was very busy but never had to wait for a seat. There is a free parking lot across the street, which is very convenient.
Service both times was friendly and efficient. Specific people dedicated to drink and chip refills and bussing empty plates. Table side guac is amazing and you pick your spice level and can omit certain ingredients (onion for us). The street corn is so freaking tasty with an unexpected kick. We got it cut off the cob, which made it easy to share. Big, individual bowls of salsa and complimentary warm chips are doled out. Yummy but spicy. Brings a tissue! :-)
The street tacos are small but wonderful. We ordered different tacos and shared and they wee all so delicious. My favorite is definitely the rock shrimp but you can't really go wrong. Hubby got the pork tacos today and really liked them. The pork was super tender and flavorful (BBQ flavorings). The chipotle grits he ordered were okay but mostly a miss. Greasy and overly spicy, thus we wouldn't order again. The biggest disappointment today was the kids chicken quesadilla we ordered for our toddler. It was $11, typical quesadilla, with no sides or drink included(although they brought him a foam, enclosed cup of water with no prompting). So pricey for hardly any cheese and a few huge chunks of chicken. No other meal options for kids.
We will definitely be back but will leave the kiddo at home or feed him before. House margarita was delicious as are the other items I mentioned. Pricey but worth it!
