Jeanette is unreliable and unprofessional. I received a Groupon for a massage at my baby shower. I contacted her to schedule and was forced to schedule three months out due to her very limited night and weekend schedule. When the day of my massage finally rolled around, I got a babysitter and drove far from my house early in the morning for the massage. When I arrived, no one was there. The door was locked. No one answered the phone. I left a message but my voicemail was never returned. After a bit, I emailed Jeanette to ask what happened and see what we could do to resolve it. She responded that there was a death in her family but she somehow had lost my contact information, so she couldn't let me know she needed to cancel -- even though we had exchanged numerous emails when setting up the appointment.
Now, with so much awkwardness that has transpired between us in trying to get this massage scheduled, I thought I should just give the Groupon to someone else. But no! Jeanette will not allow it. She insists I contact Groupon for a refund, even though the refund would go not to me, but to the person who bought the massage. AND I would have to tell the gift giver that I wasn't able to use her gift because Jeanette was uncooperative and unprofessional. Not a real solution in my book.
So I would not recommend you make an appointment with Jeanette. It will only lead to unfriendly email exchanges and an unusable gift certificate worth less than the paper it's written on.
